Model United Nations Club
Tokyo International University¡¯s Model United Nations (TIUMUN) embodies the spirit of "Leadership, Critical Thinking, and Social Impact." With a remarkable track record of 67 awards across 50 conferences since 2017, our team continuously and actively engages in diplomatic simulations over topics varying from human rights and war scenarios to global sustainability. Hosting our annual MUN conference in Tokyo with 30+ delegates underscores our commitment to nurturing skills that are essential for living in a modern society.
We, the TIUMUN Club, are a group of passionate students who enjoy political research and debate, working towards a collective goal of a better tomorrow. Throughout the year, we organize many entertaining events that unite our community despite us being an academic club! In addition to our scheduled gatherings, we travel throughout Japan to engage in educational debates, discourse, and fun-filled rivalry with our peer clubs, all with the shared objective of improving the world. In addition to expanding our knowledge, our experiences and interactions enable us to create enduring networks and friendships. Come along with us as we promote understanding, push for change, and have a blast while doing it!
TEDxTIU Club
TEDxTIU is a student organization with the goal of providing a platform to the TIU community for the exchange of ideas through self-organized workshops and licensed TEDx events. This varsity club facilitates the development of new and existing skills vital in post-undergraduate life such as leadership, communication, and event-organization. Beyond this, members are able to meet other talented students and form great bonds, breaking cultural and language barriers.
Hult Prize Club
The Hult Prize competition is a business competition held every year among universities all over the globe with the goal of innovating business ideas to help solve the world's most pressing issues. At Hult Prize TIU, we strive to organize and support the Hult Prize competition to the best of our abilities. We are a student-led organization that welcomes all students of the TIU community, including international and local Japanese students. Our club fosters a multicultural and friendly environment where students can work and grow together. Joining Hult Prize TIU is a great way to obtain skills in leadership and communication that can be used in and beyond university.
