To prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and avoid the risk of infection, Tokyo International University has decided to hold the Reiwa Year 2 (2020AY) Graduation Ceremony, planned for March 13th, via an online format instead of having graduates and their families attend in person.
As this ceremony marks an important new departure in the lives of our graduates, it was a very difficult to make the decision not to hold the event on campus. However, our first priority must be the safety and health of all attendees, as well as further preventing the spread of infection. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
Furthermore, this year’s graduation celebration party, which usually follows the graduation ceremony, has been cancelled.
We will make another announcement as soon as the details regarding the online graduation and commencement ceremony have been decided.
